Lead City International Journal of Library Information and Communication Sciences (LCIJLICS) is a research-based Journal of Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria, published bi-annually, in the months of January and July by the Department of Information Management. The journal accepts articles from all scholars, irrespective of country or institution.
The focus of the Journal is research, it is blind-peer review, with a bias for quantitative and qualitative studies that use any or a combination of the acceptable methods of research. These include Surveys, Content Analysis, and Experiments for quantitative studies; and Observation, Interviews/Focus Groups, and Documentary Analysis for qualitative studies. The aim of the journal is to contribute to the body of knowledge in the field of library and information studies, archival and records management, publishing and copyright studies, mass communication and other related disciplines. The journal therefore welcomes articles in all the areas highlighted above for publication consideration.
NOTES TO CONTRIBUTORS
• Articles should not be longer than 15 pages, references inclusive; and must have an abstract of not more than 250 words.
• At the end of the abstract, three-five keys words emanating from the paper should be listed.
• The title of the paper and author’s biographical details should be identified on the title page only.
• Author(s) names should be written in First name, Middle name, and Surname order (i.e. First name first, and Surname last).
• Format: Font of body text should be Times New Roman Size 12. Alignment should be justified. Paragraphs should be in block paragraphing and line spacing should be 1.5 lines.
• Authors should be consistent in spelling – either American English or British English.
• Tables and figures should be alluded to in the text while allusions to ‘notes’ should be indicated in superscript in the text. Notes should be presented as endnotes (i.e., at the end of the article, just before the References).
• Referencing should follow the APA style and all references should be listed, in strict alphabetical order, at the end of the article.

• Submission should be submitted together with a non-refundable assessment fee of N5,000 (five thousand Naira only). Kindly pay into this account:

• Authors shall receive confirmation of the receipt of the article by SMS or email, and the article shall be sent to two or more assessors on a blind review format.
• Upon notification that the article has been accepted for publication, the author shall submit a final copy of the manuscript by e-mail (also as an attachment using Microsoft Office Word), with a publication fee of N20,000 (twenty thousand Naira only).
• Foreign authors whose papers have been accepted for publication are to pay a sum of $100 (one hundred US dollars) which covers both the assessment and publication fees.
