PROFILE QUESTIONS
Q1: Why did you choose to study at LCU?
Maintaining a healthy lifestyle in a private university is one of the hardest parts of a freshman's adjustment to their new lifestyle. I had heard that Lead City University (LCU) makes it easy for their new students to settle in to life on campus and that was the reason why I chose LCU. I am glad that I found that the system is designed to make it easy to settle in as a freshman.
Q2: What is your favorite memory of LCU; a class, a lecturer, an activity or an experience?
Every day at LCU was memorable for me.
Q3: What have you done since graduating from LCU?
Well, there was my NYSC, after which I started working with ARM Pensions Managers Limited.
Q4: What is your current job role? And what does it involve?
I am a Client Relationship Manager at Meristem Wealth Management Limited. In my role, I am involved in creating strategies, conducting researches etc., to make the client’s investment journey seamless.
Q5: How did your education at LCU help you get to where you are now?
What I received at LCU gave me the ability to think for myself. I will always appreciate the broad and diverse curriculum. There are also the lifelong friendships which have been helpful to me. At LCU, I gained the plasticity needed to break frontiers.
Q6: What advice would you give to prospective students of LCU?
My advice, if you want a university that will give you an all-round experience, whether social, academic, spiritual, and emotional, as well as valuable life skills, then LCU is for you.
Q7: What advice would you give to LCU’s current students?
Those of you currently in Lead City University, I will say congratulations! Embrace as many skills as you can. Plan and map out your life with definite timelines and always follow your plans through to a logical conclusion.
Q8: Mention one or two of your proudest professional or personal accomplishments since graduating from LCU.
I studied for a Master of Science degree in Economics at the University of Lagos, Nigeria; Currently, I am writing my CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) exams.
Q9: If you had it to do all over again, would you still choose LCU?
Yes, I would LCU again and again. Do you know why? Because, at LCU, you live a balanced, well-rounded life, and you are given the skills you need to survive in today’s competitive world.
Q10: If the opportunity presents itself, will you be happy to support the University or other LCU Alumni?
Yes, I would be happy to support, if I can, because I am proud to have attended Lead City University, Ibadan.
